Exclusive - Vicky Jain on dealing with fights in Bigg Boss 17: Nothing can be bigger than my relationship with Ankita Lokhande 'jab tak rishtey par baat nahi aati tab tak sab theek hai' (2024)

Ankita Lokhande and husband Vicky Jain is one of the couples in controversial reality show Bigg Boss 17. The couple, who got married in December 2021 in a lavish ceremony, in Mumbai are Bigg Boss fanatics and this is one of the reasons, they decided to do the reality show. Bigg Boss is Vicky and Ankita's second reality show after Smart Jodi, which they won last year. Before entering the Bigg Boss 17 house with wife Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain got in touch with ETimes TV, exclusively and spoke about the show, family's reaction, his relationship with Ankita and more. Family’s reaction was general, beta don’t fight. They feel Bigg Boss is only about fights and as in our normal life also we avoid fights. So, they also wanted us to do that. This was the general concern. But somehow we managed to convince them that we are going. (Photo: Instagram)

Every coin has two sides, whenever you make a point, there will be people for and against your opinion especially when you are on public platform. I strongly believe that more than your actions people like you who you are there as a true person. If they like you as a human being they start loving and liking you. This game show is for 3-4 months and this time span is huge, during the course of the show, they will get to know me who I’m as a person. I believe everyone has their right to keep their opinion across if people will taunt me or Ankita for whatever has happened in the past or about our life, they can do it. I know the truth about my relationship with Ankita and I’m clear about my bond with my wife, so I don’t have to worry about anything. Ankita and I’ve always grown in our relationship as a couple and as a human being from the time we started dating each other. Whatever is thrown at us we will face it hum bhaagne waalon mein se nahi hai… we have faced criticism in the past and we will do it in future also. Ankita always has strong opinions about things and so do I, but we have different ways to deal with things. This show is such that there will be different situations where we will have to support each other and at the same time let handle our own fights. Show se bada hamara rishta hai… nothing can be bigger than my relationship with Ankita jab tak Rishtey par baat nahi aati tab tak sab theek hai.. till the time it is related to the show and contestants we will let it go but if our relationship will be questioned or judged I will stand up for it. As far as handling people who purposely instigate and pick-up fights are concerned I believe such people don’t survive for long run. When we are inside the house so we will have to deal with them and also I feel we have a perfect combination, I can handle situations calmly and Ankita can give it back upfront. We don’t have filter at all. We have done a show earlier and people have seen us we do what we like. But it doesn’t mean that we are mushy all the time. We are very competitive as people. Humara khud ka andar Ek competition chalta rehta hai. We love each other a lot, we have fights also. Hum Dono apne aap mein bahut bade content hain. (Photo: Instagram)

We are not pretentious and we just live life the way we want. We stay like that whether it is on social media, reels, real life on camera or off-camera. Whenever, Ankita records us we are very natural and organic and not pretentious. Also, hum jis Rishtey mein hain, it is the purest and it is the last relationship that you commit for. Shiv Thakare has been my favourite from the past season. He was raw, humble and I liked him the most. Bigg Boss is a reality show and I feel it is very important for a contestant to be real and he was real on the show. If you see even after a OTT season of the same show, his popularity is still intact, in fact it has increased. He is continuously growing as a human being and as an artist. Trolls never affected me or bothered me. Agar karte toh we would have not been in a relationship or grown together. We have come together so far in life because Humne Kabhi duniya ki Parwah nahi ki.
